Speaking

Why I Speak

I’ve spent decades creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and inspired — from homeschooling four kids at my kitchen table to building businesses, co-ops, and community programs. My journey has been one of resilience, creativity, and connection, and I love sharing that story with others.

Today, I speak at schools, conferences, and community events about the lessons I’ve learned: starting a business, building community, sparking creativity, and weaving connection through everything we do.

Speaking Topics

Here are a few of the areas I love to share:

  • Creativity & Curiosity – Why keeping wonder alive matters for families, classrooms, and leaders.

  • Resilience & Renewal – Lessons from walking through burnout, single parenting, and rebuilding with grit and grace.

  • Homeschooling & Education – What I’ve learned about leading with curiosity, structure, and connection.

  • Building Communities – From co-ops to summer camps, how to start a business that gives back to your community.

  • Storytelling & Legacy – Why stories matter, and how they connect generations.

What Audiences Can Expect

Whether I’m speaking to a room of teachers, parents, business leaders, or creatives, my talks are:

  • Story-driven and down-to-earth.

  • Practical, with clear takeaways.

  • Rooted in real experiences of family, education, and entrepreneurship.

  • Always focused on connection.
